The WWE continues to release many WWE superstars as of late. World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstars Stevie Richards and Colin Delaney, Raw tag team Robbie & Rory of The Highlanders, Smackdown Diva Cherry, and WWE referee Wes Adams as of Aug. 15, 2008. WWE wishes them the best in all their future endeavors.
Stevie Richards had just wrestled Vladimir Koslov on the August 8, 2008 edition of Smackdown and was praised for his work but apparently it was not good enough to change anyones mind.
Colin Delaney recently turned heel and fought Tommy Dreamer on the last ECW episode.
Cherry was a surprise as she had been one of the main Divas on Smackdown the past couple of months teaming with Michelle McCool. Guess when Maria started appearing on Smackdown they didn't have a place for Cherry anymore.
