Early on it seemed the Smackdown divas couldn't work together as Michelle and Maryse had a shoving match, until their partners pulled them apart. Once the dust finally settled, Kelly Kelly was able to get a surprise pinfall on Victoria for the 1st elimination. Maryse came in and managed to deliver a backbreaker to grab a pinfall on Kelly near the ropes. Mickie and Maria had a spirited face off, but a distraction by Maria allowed Mickie to DDT Michelle and pin her. Right after the elimination, a distraction from Beth Phoenix allowed Maryse to roll up Mickie and eliminate her. Candice was able to escape Natalya's Boston Crab submission thanks to Jillian getting into the ring. Candice speared Natalya down then made the quick rollup pin. Next it was Maria vs. Jillian. Maria managed to steal the pin on Jillian after some fighting, but quickly Candice came in and dropped Maria for the next elimination. Maryse got in quickly and ran over to knock Beth Phoenix off the apron a second time during the match. Maryse applied a figure four leglock and Candice tapped out. The Glamazon came in to finally confront Maryse as the last diva for Raw vs the last Smackdown diva. Maryse seemed to dominate impressively, even delivering a serious kick to the back of Beth's head. But Beth soon overcame it and delivered her finisher, "the Glam Slam" on Maryse. Afterwards, Santino came in to celebrate the victory.
Big Show Vs. Undertaker (Casket Match)
The Undertaker's druids delivered the Casket to the ring, before Big Show and then the Undertaker each made their entrances. In what was the 18th anniversary of the Casket Match, Undertaker seemed to have his much larger opponent beat, but the Casket wouldn't hold him. Taker tried to slam the lid shut, but Show prevented him from doing so. The Big Show got out of the casket, chokeslammed Undertaker down, and then set the casket upside down. Big Show began to back down the ramp, smiling as an angry Undertaker got up and followed him. The Big Show's exit was blocked as pyro flames shot up at the top of the ramp. Undertaker's druids brought a second casket out. Undertaker & Show began to beat on each other back and forth at the top of the ramp. After knocking Taker down, Show stood up the second casket and slammed Taker head first off it. Show propped the casket up again, and attempted to go for the knockout, punching away at Taker. Taker countered finally and threw Big Show into the casket, which then fell and the lid shut.
Team Batista Vs. Team Orton
This was a traditional Survivor Series match. Representing Batista's team was Batista of course, CM Punk, Matt Hardy, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston. On Randy Orton's team were Shelton Benjamin, William Regal, Cody Rhodes and Mark Henry. CM Punk got into the ring against Regal and started things off by quickly hoisting up Regal into the GTS, then eliminating him. The match saw most of the competitors go at it, with Shelton and R-Truth squaring off. Truth hit an axe kick at one point, but Shelton responded with the Pay Dirt, then eliminated Truth by pinfall. Kofi Kingston came in next and was punished by Shelton, then Mark Henry, and then Randy Orton, who each tagged in. Orton was able to finish off Kofi with a DDT and three count. Later still in the match, it was CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes. Punk was in control after a bulldog. He went to the top rope, but Manu got on the apron causing a distraction. Rhodes took advantage, hitting a DDT on Punk, then pin him to eliminate CM Punk. It came down to Matt Hardy & Batista vs. Shelton, Mark Henry, Rhodes & Orton. Hardy was eliminated by Mark Henry using the World's Strongest Slam. Batista quickly entered and Speared Mark Henry down. After pinning Henry, Batista hit Shelton with a Spinebuster and Batista Bomb to eliminate his 2nd straight opponent. Batista went up against Rhodes next, with a 2 on 1 situation (Orton the other remaining opponent). Batista knocked Manu off the apron and was ready with a Batista Bomb on Rhodes. Batista had Rhodes up close by Orton, allowing Orton to make a blind tag. Batista delivered the Batista Bomb on Rhodes, but since Orton was legal he couldn't pin Rhodes. As Batista argued this with the ref, Orton was in and quickly stole the win with an RKO on Batista.
Jeff Hardy Vs. Vladimir Koslov Vs. Triple H (WWE title triple threat match)
Leading up to this match, it had been discussed that Jeff Hardy had been attacked by a mysterious assailant. According to Jim Ross, the story was picked up on TMZ.com, CNN and other media outlets. Definitely the surprise of the night as the main event started off with just Kozlov vs. HHH for the WWE title. The two fought furiously and Kozlov eventually overpowered The Game. Kozlov used a barrage of submission holds, prompting the crowd to grow restless. Kozlov was able to used a high belly-to-belly suplex, but Triple H responded with a quick Pedigree. Both men were layed out on the mat as the ref started to count them down. Suddenly, Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero appeared to announce that this will be a Triple Threat as originally planned. Edge then stole the winning pinfall on Triple H and becomes new WWE champion! Surprise! Surprise!
John Cena Vs. Chris Jericho (World Heavyweight Championship match)
Cena made his return from injury in his hometown of Boston, MA, to face Chris Jericho for the title. Would Cena deliver? He had the hype behind him as he battled with the tough champion, Chris Jericho, over the belt. Both men tried to bring their A game in this one, as they battled outside the ring near the crowd barrier and avoided a double countout. Each wrestler also hit their finisher on the other, but only managed to get a 2 count. Jericho locked the Walls of Jericho in on Cena twice, but was unable to make the returning star tap out. The two competitors continued to battle it out. As the match went on, a busted open Jericho delivered a huge clothesline on Cena, and taunted him on the mat. As Cena finally got up, Jericho dropped him down with another huge clothesline. Cena tripped Y2J down to get Jericho into the STFU, and Jericho struggled to get near the ropes. Jericho kept going for the ropes and Cena finally broke the hold. Jericho raked Cena in the eye and tried to steal the match with a roll-up pinfall. Suddenly, Cena countered Jericho's pin attempt with the F-U and pinned Jericho. John Cena is your new World Heavyweight Champion!
This was a traditional Survivor Series elimination match. On Shawn Michaels side we had Rey Mysterio, Cryme Tyme and the great Khali. On John Bradshaw's side we had the Miz, John Morrison, MVP and Kane. In the match MVP eliminated JTG but then MVP wa eliminated by the man who ha been a pain in the *** to him as of late, the great Khali. Khali and Mysterio then double teamed on Kane to eliminate him via pinfall. The heels ended up at a disadvantage during the match as only JBL and John Morrison remained. Shawn Michaels was still in the match for his team and he still had Mysterio and Khali with him. For quite a while, JBL and Morrison isolated Mysterio, punishing him around the ring. Rey finally escaped using the Hurricanrana and HBK was in. HBK and JBL went to the outside, with HBK doing a flip off the apron. The two continued to battle as the ref counted. Michaels attempted to Superkick JBL who ducked away. HBK then managed to slip into the ring and escape the countout. JBL was eliminated and angrily left backstage. As Michaels got in the ring, Morrison was ready and tried to mock him with a Superkick. Michaels ducked it and gave Morrison the Superkick, then pinned him for the win. Michaels, Khali and Mysterio are the final survivors! The three final competitors celebrated together, with Khali hoisting Mysterio up on his shoulders.

Raw Results 11-17-08
Raw opened up with the ring full of Raw superstars and divas. Michael Cole was also in the ring and introduced Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie arrived at the top of the ramp to a podium where she addressed everyone. Stephanie said she would be addressing questions via an open forum tonight since Mike Adamle has resigned. Not surprisingly Randy Orton was the first to step up. Orton asked her why this Sunday's World Heavyweight title match goes to John Cena. He says that he is more talented and deserving and ask her what is so special about Cena. Stephanie says before he was injured by Batista he was a top contender and he will face Jericho at Survivor Series this Sunday. Orton says that is fine but just to let her know, whoever wins that match he is next. Next up was Cody Rhodes. Rhodes asked her why is it that two weeks ago, Orton kicked his tag partner Ted DiBiase in the head and instead of being punished he was named a captain of a tag team at Survivor Series and why Orton was not suspended for what he did. Stephanie told him that they are all grown men and woman and that they are all responsible for their own actions. Steph said that she believes all superstars are responsible for themselves on Raw, and that Orton also kicked CM Punk in the head. Steph added that Orton will have to face Punk in a match tonight on Raw, a 30 Man Lumberjack match. Santino Marella asked a question next, pointing out that he saw singer "Acorn" (Akon) in the audience. Santino proceeded to deliver a humorous rap song about how he lost the IC title and wants a rematch. Akon was shown in the crowd laughing. Steph told Santino he lost 2 rematches overseas last week, but maybe he'll get a shot again. Then, JBL stepped up to ask a question. JBL asked Stephanie where Vince was, since he needs to talk to him about Shawn Michaels. Steph told JBL that right now her and Shane are running the show. Shawn Michaels interrupted from the back and came out to ask if he had to wait 6 days until Survivor Series to get revenge on JBL. Steph told him to be patient. HBK said he's responsible for his actions as Steph said, then turned and jumped onto JBL attacking him. The ring cleared of everyone, as JBL rolled out. Michaels stayed in the ring staring out at JBL as the other superstars looked on.
Kelly Kelly vs. Victoria
Smackdown's Victoria payed a visit to Raw tonight to face Kelly Kelly. Michael Cole informed fans that 5 Raw divas will face a team of 5 Smackdown divas at Survivor Series. This Smackdown Vs Raw diva match could be a preview of that. Kelly started off with momentum, but Victoria soon gained the advantage. Victoria hoisted up Kelly in a new finisher, where she put her on her shoulders then dropped to the mat, dumping Kelly down. Cole referred to it as "Arachnophobia". Kelly managed to kick out. The two divas continued to go at it with Victoria attempting to get Kelly onto her shoulder. Kelly flipped off and was able to grab a surprise rollup pinfall for the win. Kelly rolled out of the ring all smiles as she celebrated her win, but Victoria followed and attacked from behind. Victoria tossed Kelly back into the ring and ten performed the Widows Peak on her. All of a sudden, Mickie James, Jillian and Candice charged down to the ring to defend their fellow Raw teammate. Victoria slid out of the ring and backed up the ramp. All of a sudden, Beth Phoenix charged down and hit Victoria from behind then tossed her into the ring. The divas beat down Victoria, then Beth Phoenix performed her finisher on her.
Lawler and Cole reviewed the other Survivor Series matches. Team Batista (with CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Matt Hardy and R-Truth) will face Team Orton (with William Regal, Cody Rhodes, Shelton Benjamin, and Mark Henry). Team HBK will also face Team JBL, in addition to the divas match and main event title fights.
Batista was shown walking down the hall backstage on his way to the ring for a match with Manu.
Batista vs. Manu
WWE Rewind showed last week's incident where Batista beat Cody Rhodes in a quick match. Manu got in the ring after the win by Batista, but was promptly speared down, with Randy Orton watching from the ramp. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler remarked about how Manu is the son of Afa of the Wild Samoans who won numerous WWE tag team titles. Randy Orton came out onto the ramp to watch the match as it started.
Early on in the match, Manu displayed an impressive counter to Batista attempting the Batista Bomb, as he lifted the Animal up on his shoulders and quickly slammed him back. Manu followed with a jumping kick at Batista off the ropes, but failed to get the pinfall. Manu shoved Batista shoulder first to the steel post, then used a vice grip on the hurt shoulder. Manu continued to dominate, and eventually hit a flying headbutt on Batista's shoulder. Batista escaped a pin, then kicked Manu in the face to knock him down. Batista mustered up serious offense, then signaled for a Batista Bomb. Manu, flipped him over his back to counter. Manu tried to rush at the Animal, but Batista turned it into a Spear, then finally hit the Batista Bomb to win. Batista and Orton stared at one another from ring to ramp. Cody Rhodes got on the apron as if he was going in to face Batista, then eventually dropped down and walked off with Manu. Batista grabbed the mic and told Orton for 3 years he's wanted to beat him down for all his trash talk. Batista said to stop worrying about Cena's comeback and who's next in line, but instead worry about Survivor Series.
Stephanie McMahon came to the ramp and asked the crowd to welcome WWE Hall of Famer, Chief Jay Strongbow. Strongbow came out onto the ramp waving to the crowd. Cole and Lawler ran down some more of Survivor Series matches, including Big Show vs Undertaker in a Casket Match, and a possible Triple Threat for the WWE title.
In the back locker room, Orton rushed up to ask Cody Rhodes why he backed out of a fight with Batista. Orton said he can tell Stephanie to take Rhodes off his team if that's his attitude. ECW Results 11-03-08
Bam Neely vs. Matt Hardy
Neely used his brawling style to take control on the ECW Champion and attempted a standing suplex on the champ. Hardy used his weight to escape it from the air, landing on his feet, then reversed into a neckbreaker. From here Matt began to gain momentum, hitting an elbow to the back of Neely's head, DDT's and more attacks. Hardy couldn't capture a pinfall and went to the top of the turnbuckle. Neely followed him up and eventually suplexed Matt off. Neely thought he had it won, as he picked up Matt and tried to ram him into the corner. Matt used his foot to prevent it and then turned it into a Twist of Fate for the win!
After the match, Finlay & Hornswoggle came down the ramp to see Hardy in the ring. Finlay told Matt it's about time they fought one-on-one for the ECW title, since Matt's defeated just about everyone else. As Matt was about to accept the challenge, Mark Henry and Tony Atlas came out to the ramp to interrupt. Henry said there's no way Finlay can just come out and get a title shot. The two exchanged words with Henry claiming Finlay's never defeated him. Just then, ECW GM Teddy Long came out to the ramp to intervene.
